Nicole Juniper lives in Melbourne and is currently studying Applied Science. As a member of the ‘Live It, Speak It’ program Nicole hopes to raise awareness of mental ill-health alongside nutrition and how diet and exercise can affect the mind, as well as the body.
As an active advocate for youth mental health, Nicole has worked with Orygen as a peer support worker and Platform member and headspace Glenroy as a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) member. She has also appeared in many media engagements on behalf of Orygen and often speaks in schools about headspace’s services, mental health and illness, body image and sexuality.
More recently, Nicole co-facilitates a queer youth group called QSPACE at headspace Glenroy.
