On the 26^th April 2017 Orygen hosted ‘In Conversation: The future of youth mental health’. Orygen bought together some of the leading thinkers in youth mental health: Professor Ian Manion from the Institute of Mental Health Research, Canada,  Professor Shitij Kapur, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science, The University of Melbourne  and Professor Patrick McGorry AO, Executive Director, Orygen for this major public event. 

The thought provoking conversation covered topics including  exploration of the youth mental health landscape in Australia and Canada and consideration of models in developing countries, the role of  genetics technology and suicide prevention in youth mental health.
