Brendon is experienced in executive leadership in the higher education, commercial, community and public service sectors. He has a strong track record of identifying opportunities and developing strategies for expansion and growth, and building new partnerships. He presently works as the Deputy Director at Menzies School of Health Research.

Brendon has responsibility for identifying income generation opportunities and partnerships, bringing a background in strategic planning, contract management, organisational growth and governance. He plays a lead role in Menzies’ strategic performance management.

Brendon is a qualified lawyer, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an International Fellow at Oxford Academic Health Partners, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and has post graduate management qualifications and completed executive education programs at London School of Economics.

His previous roles included the Vice Chancellors' Fellow at the Innovative Research Universities and Team Leader for DFAT’s largest bilateral health program valued at more than $200 million.
