Learn about the theory behind the brief intervention toolkit model and how to use it directly with young people and as a waitlist management strategy.

This training package is delivered to clinicians on-site or virtually and provides a unique experiential learning experience. Clinicians will develop skills to deliver the toolkit in practice and implement it in their organisation.

Audience: mental health clinicians, student clinicians under supervision and service leads.

Overview of training:

  • introduction and overview of BIT
  • example of modules
  • screening and measuring outcomes in BIT
  • implementing BIT in practice.

Length of training: one day, which is suitable for virtual or face-to-face delivery.
