Zsofia is a psychologist, researcher and entrepreneur. With a background in behavioural sciences and psychology, she is currently pursuing her PhD at King’s College London. Previously Zsofia worked in the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication in the University of Cambridge, where she also completed her Master’s degree. Zsofia is currently the curator for the Cambridge Hub for the Global Shapers Community.
Zsofia founded AMKA Counselling, a mental health and counselling service started in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and is a co-founder of VOICES, a women empowerment platform which upskills women in the early stages of their career to access professional opportunities globally.
In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, Zsofia initiated and established a crisis mental health centre in Hungary, in collaboration with Eotvos Lorand University. With a team of counsellors and clinical psychologists, they offered free mental health support and counselling to those affected by the pandemic.
