  • Professor Patrick McGorry AO

    Professor Patrick McGorry is the Executive Director of Orygen, Professor of Youth Mental Health at The University of Melbourne, and a Director of the Board of the National Youth Mental Health Foundation (headspace). His work has played a critical role in the development of safe, effective treatments and innovative research into the needs of young people with emerging mental disorders, notably psychotic and severe mood disorders. He has also played a major part in the transformational reform of mental health services to better serve the needs of vulnerable young people.  Read more

    John Moran is the Chief Operating Officer at Orygen, having worked in the organisation since it was established in 2002. John is also an Honorary Senior Fellow at the Centre for Youth Mental Health, The University of Melbourne.  Read more

  • Kerryn Pennell

    Kerryn Pennell is Director, Strategy & Development at Orygen. She and her team are responsible for leading Orygen’s strategy and policy development and building key relationships and partnerships in Australia and overseas.  Read more

  • Associate Professor Rosemary Purcell

    Associate Professor Rosemary Purcell is the Acting Director, Research (Development and Operations) at Orygen. She is also a Principal Research Fellow in the Centre for Youth Mental Health at the University of Melbourne and a registered psychologist.  Read more

  • Ian Woodruff

    Ian Woodruff is Acting Director, Skills & Knowledge at Orygen. Ian’s recent roles and responsibilities have included 3 years as Program Director in RMIT’s School of Management. Prior to this, Ian was Head of the Health Services Management Group at RMIT, coordinating research activities, commercial consultancies and health services curriculum development in undergraduate and MBA programs.  Read more
