Longtime supporter of Orygen awards $3 million for Capital Project

Orygen is very pleased to announce that longtime supporter, The Ian Potter Foundation has awarded $3 million to fund our Capital Project.

Orygen’s Capital project which is expected to be complete September 2018, will create a purpose built facility for Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health clients, visitors staff and services. The new facility has been designed to support collaboration and innovation and will give Orygen greater capacity to grown its work.

Chairman of The Ian Potter Foundation, Mr. Charles Goode AC said The Ian Potter Foundation is proud to be associated with Orygen in this development.

“Orygen is a recognised world leader in mental health for young people.  The provision of modern facilities for their research and clinical work is an essential development for Orygen’s continued national and international leadership of innovative clinical care, cutting edge research, and education and training.”
