Jhonatan

Jhonatan is a Dayak youth leader from West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Jhonatan has a background in nursing and a deep commitment to planetary health and Indigenous well-being. He is the founder of the Patamuan Talino Foundation, which empowers rural and Indigenous communities through education, culture, and environmental initiatives. Jhonatan uses narrative and visual media to amplify Indigenous voices through film and climate storytelling. Having experienced mental health challenges firsthand and witnessing the struggles of youth in marginalised areas, Jhonatan believes that culturally rooted support systems are essential for healing.
