Rachael

Rachael is a proud and passionate advocate who utilises various forms of advocacy, such as film, journalism, and art, to communicate complex messages and challenge assumptions. She acknowledges the strengths of Australia's healthcare system while being acutely aware of its pitfalls and structural injustices, having personally experienced iatrogenic harm and violations of human rights. With lived experiences of mental ill-health, disability, and neurodivergence, she has developed expertise to lead and implement tangible changes through her initiative called the Integrity Initiative. The Integrity Initiative is a mission to cultivate autonomy, dignity and human rights in mental health conversations and treatment and a revolution towards humanity, compassion and respect.
