YH works as a Research Associate where she focuses on increasing access to inclusive, evidence-based mental healthcare for marginalised communities through community-informed research. She has contributed to projects focused on transgender and gender diverse people's health through digital and peer-led interventions and has worked with regional organisations in the dissemination of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in the Asia-Pacific region. She is guided by the belief that access to safe and quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and should be accessible to all regardless of identity or circumstances.
