Esther is a dedicated social work professional specialising in medical and psychiatric care, currently serving with the Ministry of Health in Tonga. Her clinical expertise is centred on case management and mental health advocacy, notably contributing to drafting of Tonga's first National Mental Health Policy and strategic planning.

Her practical experience includes conducting outpatient and inpatient therapy, performing home visits for environmental assessments and maintaining clinical documentation to ensure patient care. Driven by a mission to reduce healthcare backlogs and fight social stigma, Esther continues to help promote mental health and provide psychoeducation to patients, their families and to the different communities across the Kingdom of Tonga.
