Youth Advisory Council 2025

Lea (she/her) is 20 years old and has worked in the advocacy space for just over three years now, and is excited to be joining Orygen! She also currently sits on two other youth advisory councils for the Queensland Family & Child Commission and the Australian Human Rights Commission. She is passionate about empowering and uplifting youth, especially those from the transgender and disability communities.

Outside of advocacy, she is in her third year of a psychology degree, hoping to become a neuropsychologist. In her free time, she loves playing video games and walking her two miniature sausage dogs, Winnie and Arlo.
