Lucy (she/her) is a final-year psychology student at the Australian National University with a deep passion for mental health advocacy, especially for young people in rural and remote communities.

Growing up in Alice Springs and supporting a family member through serious mental illness opened hereyes to the stark inequalities of accessing mental health care in rural and remote Australia. These experiences shaped her commitment to improving mental health support in remote areas and ensuring young voices are heard.

Since moving to Canberra, she has become especially interested in the power of peer-led initiatives that help young people navigate life transitions and emotional challenges.

Outside of study, she enjoys getting out into the bush to camp, hike, and explore nature. Lucy is proud to contribute her lived experience and passion to the Youth Advisory Council.
