Michael’s major interests are in the discovery and implementation of novel therapies as well as learning more about the risk factors and prevention of psychiatric disorders.     Professor Andrew Chanen is Head, Personality Disorder Research at Orygen. Andrew’s research, clinical and training interests lie in prevention and early intervention for severe mental disorders, principally personality disorders, along with mood and psychotic disorders.  Read more

    Helen Herrman is the  Head,  Vulnerable and Disengaged Youth Research at Orygen. She is also Professor of Psychiatry at the Centre for Youth Mental Health, The University of Melbourne and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Mental Health in Melbourne.   Read more

  • Professor Barnaby Nelson

    Barnaby Nelson is a clinical psychologist and researcher. He leads the Ultra High Risk for Psychosis Research program and works clinically at one Orygen's headspace centres. His work focuses on identification strategies, prediction of outcome and treatments for young people who are at ultra high risk for psychosis.  Read more
