A suicide safety plan is a tool designed to be used by a person at risk of suicide to help them stay safe when experiencing suicidal thoughts. This guide for families contains information on what is involved in creating a safety plan, what role parents might have, what role schools can have and what to do if the safety plan is not working for your young person.
